Harman Blennerhassett letter, 1812 Jan. 29.

Letter is from Harman Blennerhassett to Jeffris Moore, an attorney from Port Gibson, Mississippi. Blennerhassett asked Moore to appear for him in court "in an action commenced" against him by Fred Ford. He also asked to borrow law books to prepare an answer in Chancery Court.
